MDGEL 6715 is a transparent two-component self-healing silicone gel. After curing, it forms a special soft material that is buffered and automatically recovered. It is designed to insulate circuit boards from moisture and other harmful contaminants, and to provide insulation against high voltages. Another use is to provide stress relief to protect circuits and components from high temperature and mechanical stress.

Power semiconductor IGBT, load sensor, automotive ECU integrated module and other package protection IC chip, power telecommunication waterproof connector potting and sealing.

Operation Use craft

  • The A and B components are weighed at a ratio of 1:1, mixed evenly, and injected directly into the components (or modules) that need to be potting and protected.
  • The potting components can be put to rest, and can be heated and cured (about 30 minutes under the condition of 80℃), or directly cured at room temperature. The initial solid curing takes about 4-5 hours. To achieve no obvious oil layer on the surface, it takes 24 hours.
